Linux Terminal Study Hub | How we build
A personal AI and creative workspace that runs on your own machine: chat with local models through Ollama, search and remember your own documents, design on a canvas, work with music and video tools, and open your Community spaces, all in one desktop app.
Where it stands: v0.5.5 desktop alpha, published November 3, 2026, for Linux x86_64 (AppImage and .deb) and Windows x64. Releases from 0.5.4 on have owner-signed checksums and verified build provenance.

- Arynwood Open Knowledge: local-first educational research and inclusive learning, built on LearnOS.
- Cutroom: an AI-assisted video editor built on Kdenlive. An assistant inside the editor edits your timeline from plain language, using a local model, and asks before it changes anything. Early alpha, Linux.
- MusicStudio: local music production: voice conversion, generated instrumentation, stem separation and mastering on your own hardware.
- Local AI benchmarks: measured Ollama generation speeds on real hardware, CPU-only and GPU, plus a script to test your own machine.
- Arynwood chat window: a website chat window that answers from the site's own public pages, with a local model you run.
- SDXL LoRA portability study: how well LoRAs carry across SDXL checkpoints.
I started in web design and graphic arts before pivoting toward infrastructure automation, systems programming, and security. That path has taken me from static sites to smart contracts, published Rust crates, GPU tooling, and self-hosted services.

- AI orchestration and GPU tool management
- Private, self-hosted community software
- Infrastructure automation and self-hosted services
- Security tooling for authorized lab environments
- Creative tooling: design, generative AI, audio/video
- Desktop & Systems: Tauri, Rust, Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Vite
- AI & GPU: Ollama, Stable Diffusion (A1111), Whisper, SadTalker, AnimateDiff, TortoiseTTS
- Automation: n8n, GitHub Actions CI/CD, Python scripting
