A Cargo workspace collecting small Rust projects written while learning the language — covering core concepts like ownership, pattern matching, structs, vectors, and I/O.
Each project lives in its own folder and can be built independently or all together as part of the workspace.
A CLI number-guessing game. Generates a random number and gives too small / too big feedback until the player guesses correctly.
Concepts: pattern matching (std::cmp::Ordering), loops, input validation
Calculates the real daily cost of a purchase based on its price and how long you plan to use it. For example: a $4000 keyboard used for 2 years costs roughly $5.5/day.
Concepts: arithmetic operations, user input, basic formatting
A faster, optimized version of cost_per_day_calculator, solving the same problem with improved logic/performance.
Concepts: code optimization, refactoring for speed
Stores and manages client records — name, age, and email — in a Vec, demonstrating basic data collection and structuring.
Concepts: structs, vectors, collections
Converts a full name into a shortened initials format.
Example: Ziad Ali Mahmoud → Ziad .A .M
Concepts: string parsing, slicing, formatting
Takes environmental inputs (e.g. temperature, whether it's sunny or cloudy) and decides whether to go outside or not.
Concepts: conditional logic, decision-making with multiple inputs
Build everything in the workspace:
cargo build --workspaceRun a specific project:
cd <project_name>
cargo runOpen-source under the MIT License.
